CPI July rose 1.17%. After two months of deceleration, CPI July surged to 1.17%. Although this ratio is not high, it has affected to the psychology as well as expectation on the deceleration of inflation in second half of 2011. General Statistics Office (GSO) has reported CPI July is 1.17%, in which price in the North is higher than in the South (CPI Hanoi rose 1.32% while CPI Ho Chi Minh City rose 1.07%) . As a subsequence, inflation YoY in late July has escalated to 22.16% and accumulated inflation in the first 7 months of this year is 14.61%.
